BUBBLE WRAP NBUS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Darnell's new Nbus challenge No 10 starts today.
Nbus stands for never before used stuff.

This her third week of challenges to celebrate her 5th blog Anniversary.
So congratulations to Darnell on her 5th blog Anniversary.
I missed the first week as I had quite a few family commitments so I was determined to join the last 2 weeks.
This morning on her post she showed some lovely cards made with bubble wrap.
So here is my version of a bubble wrap design.

This is a a 6"x5" size card.
The Nbus items are the flowers, the butterfly, and the sentiment.
With my bubble wrap I used Pixie Powders Peacock Green, and Fireworks Burst, and then when it was dry I rubbed Creative Expressions Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish on it and polished it.
I backed the bubble wrap with black card to show off the pretty  shades.
I think this came out quite lovely don't you.

Thank you for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.   JENNY.

CASED BIRTHDAY CARD FOR MY SON

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
Today I have a card I cased from Pam
HERE
Mine is very similar, but I didn't have her dies for the dogs.

This is for Darnell's Nbus challenge No 9 if I'm not too late.
Now the meaning of Nbus is never before used stuff it can be new or old it doesn't matter as long it's never been used.
The optional theme is to case a card made by someone.
Here is my interpretation of Pam's wonderful card.

This is a 6.5x7.5 size card.
NBus items used are the Happy Birthday die, and the foliage dies.
The reason I cased Pam's card was that I loved it, and my Son lives on a farm, and they have 5 dogs of which at least 3 are rescue dogs.
They now have a Lab and a Poodle which they are gong to mate to create Labradoodles pups to sell to help with my Granddaughter's housing costs at Southampton University.
So I thought this card would be appropriate.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

GRANDSON'S 18TH BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome from a very sunny part of Kent.
I do hope the sun is shinning in your part of the world where ever you may reside.

Was in a quandary as what design to create for my Grandson who turns 18 on Tuesday, and then thought of this idea.
I can safely show it as I know he doesn't know about my blog.

This is a A5 size card.
Kept it rather flat for posting.
The lovely card I used was a freebie gift from the C&C Club.
It's Kanban card and was A5 in size.

I am entering this into the Allsorts Challenge who are celebrating their 400th Challenge so a big congratulations to them on such a milestone.

Almost forgot that I cut out the Grandson letters out of snippets of black and kraft card so I can join my playmates in the snippets playground yay.

Thank you so much to all my very talented friends who regularly make such great comments on my work.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

A VERY RECENT OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I do hope everyone is well and keeping warm with this cold spell we are all having.
We have lovely sunshine in my part of Kent today hooray.

Now today I am bringing back a card I made and posted on Tuesday night.
This is because on Wednesday morning I posted my Rudolf GD card and I don't think most of you saw it.
So I thought I would bring it back so you could see it.
I made it for the Frilly and Funkie challenge and was quite pleased with how it turned out.

This is a A5 size card.
The papers used were a free download from the C&C club website, and they are Dreamies.
I distressed the edges with scissors, and then inked them.
The vintage image of the birds was from the Internet.
Just added the rest of the items from my stash.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful  comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.   JENNY.

RUDOLF CHALLENGE JANUARY 2017... DESIGN TEAM CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
I am back today with my DT card for the Rudolf Challenge over at Scrappymo's bolg HERE
This is the first one of this year.
The challenge runs from the 25th of the month to the end of the month.

Now I was very surprised when she emailed me and asked if I wanted to be on her DT again this year.
She had 12 wonderful crafty  people who designed for her last year, and they were split into the 2 halves of the year.
This year she put all twelve names in a hat and drew out 4 people, and I was one of the lucky ones.
So I said I would be very honoured to Design again this year.

So here is my card for the very first challenge of the year.
My next will be in March, and every other month.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image is from the Crafter's Companion Winter Paint Poppets CD.
I added some glitter to the image.
The papers are also from the same CD.

Please pop over to Scrappymo's blog HERE to view the other wonderful DT cards, as some of last years wonderful crafter's  are finishing off their DT duties this month.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLIES SHAKER ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope everyone has a wonderful weekend as the weather has been mighty cold for quite a few days.

Managed to finish my card to enter the Butterfly Challenge at long last.
The challenge calls for J for Jewels, and or Jade.
So here is what I made not sure if colour is Jade though.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The die is a Nbus one which I bought recently.
The pearlecent card was paper which I used double sided sticky paper to glue it to card so it would die cut easier.
Behind the shaker part I used Pixie Powders on Ivory pearlecent card.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make, they really boost my day.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MIXED MEDIA JOURNAL COVER

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing again, sometimes life just limits blogging because of everything you have to do, and as I take things at a snails pace now time seems to run out on me.
So thank you for your visit, and understanding.

I have another thing to cross off my crafty list of things to try.
I bought a book about 2 years ago to do some journaling, and never got round to using it till now, so as it's a new year I thought I must cross that one off my list of things to try.
So here is my mixed media cover I created, as I am a newbie to this type of thing I hope it looks okay.

I started by using black gesso to prime the cover then I added my items which included some kitchen roll for texture, and covered them with Starlight Paints in Agean, and Diamond colours.

Lots of crafty love.   JENNY.

INK DUSTED STAMPED CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Have been having trouble with my back since taking down the Christmas Decs, and my DH has caught my cold bug I had before Christmas.
Now that's a brilliant start to a New Year, but I must not complain as there are people a lot worse off than me.
So I am sending big hugs to anyone in need of one.

Now I was really struggling with the Butterfly Challenge this time around, but suddenly thought about how to create this card this afternoon.

This is a A5 size card.
I matted it with some black card, and then I ink dusted some white card with Memento Inks to create the scene.
The little butterflies are from a stamp I won on the Butterfly Challenge last year.
Thank you so much for your visit.
I really do appreciate your time visiting me.
I have quite a few Birthdays this month so I am going to be a busy lady.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

HANDBAG AND BOOTS BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing for so long, but I have had family staying for over Christmas, and the New Year.
I do hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and are enjoying the start of a New Year.

I would like to welcome my newest followers, but I am not sure who you are if you have a blog please let me know so I can visit you too.

Today I have a card I made quite a while ago, and have never shown.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The handbag, boots, and flowers are from CraftsUprint.
Quite a quick and simple card to make you just print the images and cut them out.
I did decoupage the flap of the bag and the handle also to give it dimension.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
